Breeze spends her days scanning the property for visitors. She gets especially excited when deer and fox pass through the Orchard and the trails through the Rose Hips. Breeze also has a fondness for sniffing out the resident voles.

Home Renovation
Here we go again! The paint was barely dry on our Key West renovation when we decided to head to the paddling mecca that is the PNW and chart a course for a new island. We are excited to call San Juan Island our new home and look forward to transforming our 1970s ranch into a modern compound. See photo for a sneak peek of things to come!
Growing Our Own Food
The Pear Point Compound was once part of a thriving farming area "back in the day." Paying homage to its roots and to stave off rising inflation, we are including a greenhouse, a robust vegetable garden and a fruit orchard in our plans. The image to the right is inspiration as we work to get deer fencing installed, raised garden beds built and fruit trees planted in the newly created orchard. Watch this space!
The Boat House
It started off as a garage in the original plans but has been nicknamed "the boat house" along the way...mostly because we are including a separate carport for the actual vehicles so the garage space is being curated to house Darian's outrigger canoes and surf skis. It will be the future home of Paddle Republic SJI, a casual hangout for paddle enthusiasts. It will also include a guest suite on the upper level so we have another space to host guests.
Pear Point Gardens
With more than 3 acres to play with, our vision is to create an overall park-like setting complete with fire pit, walking paths, artwork and beautiful gardens for friends, family and community to enjoy.
